About Moriah

My Mission: To help people thrive in the spaces they inhabit. My clients’ well-being radiates positive change out into their families, friends, communities and the world beyond.

I’ve always been enamored with the vast range of aesthetics in good design, but I feel a visceral “ick” when spaces lack functionality and comfort. A home shouldn’t be limiting or feel unwelcoming. It should support those who live in it with all aspects of their lives…family/friend/work relationships, career, love life, wealth, health, and so on.

At its best, our homes and workspaces should inspire us to thrive in all ways while also looking fantastic and feel welcoming. This is why I am drawn frequently to ideas behind Feng Shui. It is a way of looking at a space and thinking of how it can pragmatically serve its inhabitants, and it has just the right dose of design advice and magic to keep it interesting.

My own background living and working in beautiful spaces has ranged from locations in the hills and mountains of Wyoming to South Africa and Manhattan, to the Virgin Islands, and to the Pacific Northwest. While I’m currently located in Seattle, I do in-person consultations worldwide. Beautiful spaces and in beautiful places…that’s my wheelhouse!

  • What is Reiki Healing?

    Reiki is a Japanese healing art that was developed by Mikao Usui in Japan in the early 20th century. It is pronounced ray-key. You might also hear it called Reiki energy, Usui system of Reiki and therapeutic touch. 

    The Japanese word Reiki means universal energy. Eastern medicine systems work with this energy, which they believe flows through all living things and is vital to well being. The energy is known as 'Ki' in Japan, 'Chi' in China and 'prana' in India. Reiki isn't part of any type of religion or belief system.
